Club 100 Lottery
Play the Club 100 lottery and help to raise funds for the GOA. The funds help to subsidise the GOA.'s annual Christmas and Summer parties for members children and pays for the bouquet of flowers or baskets of fruit presented to members unlucky enough to be hospitalised or off on long term sickness. It also provides for short term loans to be made to members who may find themselves in financial difficulties.
The lottery operates as follows:
Members commit to paying a monthly amount by standing order to the Association. Each £1 donated would equate to a £1 stake. For a monthly stake of £1 your name or a number would be entered in the draw each month. You could of course improve your odds of winning by investing more each month to a maximum of £20. So, for instance, if you invested £5 a month five cards or paper slips with your name or number on would be entered in the draw giving you five chances of winning.
The draw will be made by the Chairman, or Vice-Chairman in the Chairman’s absence. A cheque to the value of half the draw’s takings will be made out in the name of the winner and posted to him or her directly. The other half will be paid into the Association’s Social and Welfare Fund.
